AT&T and the Buffalo Sabres have teamed up to give fans some extra cheering power this season. Starting Friday at the home opener and for nine other home games this season, Sabre fans can go to the AT&T Connection Center located within the First Niagara Center’s concourse and use an AT&T device to customize a cheer card that they can use to help cheer on the team.
The customized cheer cards are free and will be printed on site, and each fan will receive an email and photo of their cheer to post on their social media sites such as Facebook page, Twitter, etc.
For each cheer card, AT&T will donate $1 to benefit the Erie County Medical Center Lifeline Foundation to support the ECMC Mobile Mammography coach, up to $5,000.
In addition, during the game, the Sabres will run a scoreboard video feature where they will search for an identify the “Cheer Card of the Game” and announce AT&T’s pledge to donate $1 for each card created.
