URBAN LAND INSTITUTE OF WESTERN NEW YORK PRESENTS: LEVERAGING ANCHORING INSTITUTIONS FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

WHO: The Urban Land Institute, a global nonprofit research and education organization, will host guest speakers: Lisa Prasad, Principal, u3 Ventures; Matthew K. Enstice, Executive Director, Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus; and Robert Shibley, Dean, University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning. Moderator for the panel is Christina Orsi, Director of Western New York’s Regional Office Empire State Development.
WHAT: The moderated panel discussion will outline how academic and health institutions can serve as economic growth engines, which have proven to be the case in other markets to spur growth and development in their surrounding communities.
